Stereo cassette deck CT-970 (Pioneer)

• Quarts locked direct drive 3 head closed loop double capstan system.
• DC amplifier for play back ( 2SK240 for head amp ).
• Auto BLE ( Bias, Level, Equalizer ) tuning system
• Got a gold prize of good design award 1981 in Japan.

Trouble	Cause	Repair
Left capstan was not driven.	Flywheel belt is melted out.	Replaced the belt to new one for TEAC V-9000.
Suddenly start or stop playback. Didn't stop BLE tuning.	C-MOS logic IC for BLE playback control was damaged and the output voltage from the IC was fluttering form vss to vdd.	Replace the IC.
Supply and takeup reels couldn't drive the hubs.	Idoler ring was slipping.	Replace the idoler ring.
